Professional Mountain Biker

Former professional XC ATV racer ‘18-’22

I’m a 26-year-old professional cyclist with a career focus on Cross-Country Olympic mountain biking. My enthusiasm for cycling is about learning and applying the physiology, psychology, and nutrition behind endurance sports, while doing what it takes to win at the highest level. I’ve enjoyed riding bikes since I was a kid and later found my passion for off-road motorsports at age 10, where I began aspiring to race ATVs professionally. Starting locally, I climbed the ranks in the ATV racing world from the novice class, eventually working my way up to the highest level of the sport accomplishing National Top Amateur in 2016, a Pro-Am National Championship in 2017, and six professional podium finishes along the way.

As an ATV racer, I learned the value of physical fitness early on and began taking training more seriously around age 15. While training for two-hour ATV races, I found cycling to be my favorite way of improving my aerobic fitness. Building the fitness required to perform was the thing I enjoyed most about ATV racing, which led to my decision to focus on two wheels.

At 22 years old, my professional ATV career was just beginning to take off…but after my awareness and passion for the cross-country mountain biking grew, I felt a calling to shift my long-term athletic career focus. I already had experience racing bikes at NICA and local races, so I set my sights on racing regionally, nationally, and internationally.

I hope to inspire others along the way.
