About Devon Feehan
Professional Cross-Country Cyclist
Former professional XC ATV racer ‘18-’22
I’m a professional cyclist with a career focus on racing XCO. My enthusiasm for cycling has been about learning and applying the physiology, psychology, and nutrition behind endurance sports and doing what it takes to perform at the top. I’ve enjoyed riding bikes since I was a kid and later found my passion for off-road motorsports at age 10, where I began aspiring to race ATVs professionally. Starting locally, I climbed the ranks in the ATV racing world from the novice class, eventually working my way up to the highest level of the sport accomplishing National Top Amateur in 2016, a Pro-Am National Championship in 2017, and six professional podium finishes along the way as a privateer.
Throughout my pursuit of endurance sports, I learned the value of physical fitness early on and began taking training more seriously around age 15. For two-hour endurance races, I found cycling to be my favorite way of improving my aerobic fitness and performance. Building the fitness required to perform was the thing I enjoyed most about ATV racing, which led to my decision to focus on two wheels.
At 22 years old, my professional ATV career was just beginning to blossom and I was performing at the highest level of that sport…but after my awareness and passion for the cross-country mountain biking grew, I felt a calling to shift my long-term athletic career trajectory to focus on cycling. I already had experience racing bikes in NICA and local races, so I set my sights on racing regionally, nationally, and internationally.
I hope to inspire others along the way.
