About Devon Feehan

Professional Mountain Biker 🇺🇸

Former GNCC XC1 ATV racer ‘18-’22

I’m a 26-year-old professional mountain biker focused on the Cross-Country Olympic (XCO) discipline. My passion for cycling goes beyond racing—I’m fascinated by the physiology, psychology, and nutrition behind endurance performance and the process of applying them to compete at the highest level.

My path to professional cycling began in a different sport. I started racing ATVs at age 10 and worked my way from the novice ranks to the highest level of off-road racing. Along the way, I earned National Top Amateur honors in 2016, won the Pro-Am National Championship in 2017, and went on to achieve six professional podium finishes.

Physical training became a major part of that journey. I began taking fitness seriously around age 15, and cycling quickly became my favorite way to prepare for two-hour ATV races. Over time, I realized that the process of building fitness and improving endurance was what I enjoyed most about competing.

At 22, while my professional ATV career was still progressing, my growing passion for cross-country mountain biking led me to make a major change. With previous experience racing through NICA and at the local level, I shifted my focus entirely to cycling and set my sights on competing nationally and internationally.

I hope my journey inspires others to pursue ambitious goals, embrace change, and see how far they can take something they’re passionate about!
